Pamela Zonsius

In 1980, Pamela Zonsius graduated from The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles, California. In 1981 Pamela created The Pamela Morris Collection, the first fashion cashmere collection made in the USA. In 1986 Pamela starting working with Hanae Mori Cashmere, she created the first Private Label cashmere design collection for retailers such as, Bergdorfs, Bendels, Bloomingdales, Saks Fifth Avenue, and various other retailers across the US and Europe. In 1991, her fashion career continued as Women's Product Director at Saks Fifth Avenue for women's private label collections. In 1996, Pamela developed the interior design division of FZAD, known as FIRM6. 

Pamela's fashion background combined with her interior design style, creates spaces that look like collections. Pamela and Frederic work together as a team. Their designs are inspired by the way in which one moves throughout a space. Their designs are timeless and beautiful. 

Frederic Zonsius

Frederic Zonsius, co-founder of FIRM6 and principal architect of FZAD, graduated from

Cornell School of Architecture in 1980.

As our in-house architect, Frederic works closely with our clients to create a project of their imaginations. His 30+ years of architecture experience, includes the design of buildings from the ground up, including project management, to creating interior spaces with beautiful millwork details. To his success, Frederic’s commercial and residential projects have the depth and complexity of an architect that listens to his clients. His motto is “it’s never done till it’s done”.

Frederic creates beautiful spaces, bringing a sense of timelessness to each and every design.
